“Our veterans have sacrificed so much for us and this is just one way we can allow them to honor their fellow soldiers. Our nation's war memorials belong to our veterans, and now they will never have to pay for a permit when they would like to hold a special event at a war memorial," said Moolenaar.

“I am fighting to stop the Biden Administration from using the IRS to collect more information on Americans," said Congressman Moolenaar. "The legislation I am supporting this week will stop the IRS from expanding its data collection and help protect families and small businesses from federal overreach."

Today’s illegal action, right before the winter heating season, shows how out-of-touch some groups on the far-left are with the majority of Americans who want affordable and reliable energy.”

“Dan loved northern Michigan and the UP. He was humble and down-to-Earth, and he worked hard everyday for Michiganders and their interests," said Congressman John Moolenaar, who served alongside Benishek in 2015 and 2016. "He passed legislation to help protect the Sleeping Bear Dunes for future generations, and as a doctor he fought for better health care for veterans. I will miss Dan, and my prayers are with his family and friends as they mourn his passing and celebrate his legacy of service to northern Michigan.”

Science shows us that babies in the womb have a heartbeat after six weeks, arms and legs after ten weeks, and all of their major organs after 15 weeks. We must protect these innocent lives and I will continue to support resources for mothers, children, and young families,” said Congressman John Moolenaar, who voted against the Democrats' abortion bill.
