“Senator Bob Dole dedicated his life to serving our country. As a member of the Greatest Generation, he was a hero for his service in World War II and as a senator, he made America a better place,” said Congressman John Moolenaar. “Senator Dole will be long-remembered for his selfless patriotism, decency, and humor. I send my deepest condolences to his family and friends as they mourn his passing.”

“In July, President Biden declared America free from COVID. Now, instead of letting Americans make their own choices, Biden continues to pursue mandates and impose restrictions on Americans. It has been nearly two years since the pandemic began in America and it is long past time for the Biden Administration to let families decide what is best for them," said Congressman John Moolenaar.

“Telehealth services have been vital to veterans as they have received care over the past couple of years and the VA Telehealth Strategy Act will require the VA to improve care and convenience for our veterans," said Congressman Moolenaar. "The POW Priority Care Act is also essential because it will help ensure that courageous veterans who endured enemy captivity will receive the care they need most. I hope the House will quickly pass both bills to help veterans receive the benefits they earned serving our nation."

“This funding will cover the cost of repairing damaged campus buildings, which in turn, will help Northwood students pursue the educational and extracurricular activities that are best for them,” said Congressman John Moolenaar. “In the past year and a half, I have worked with federal, state, and local leaders to ensure our region receives the support it deserves, and today’s grant from FEMA adds to more than $100 million dollars in federal support that has come to the region since last year’s flooding.”

“Michigan families are facing some of the highest inflation in the nation, fueled in part by the $2 trillion in spending Democrats passed in March. Now while Michigan families face higher costs for Thanksgiving and Christmas, Democrats are doubling down and passing another bill that costs nearly $2 trillion. Michigan families will be forced to pay the price while Democrats in Washington spend their hard-earned tax dollars," said Moolenaar.

“President Biden’s vaccine mandate is unconstitutional, and the federal government has no business enforcing this executive overreach on businesses and workers," said Congressman John Moolenaar. "Businesses are already struggling with supply chain disruptions and a labor shortage – the vaccine mandate will only exacerbate those issues. I will continue to oppose this mandate until the courts, Congress, or the Biden Administration bring it to a permanent end."

"President Biden and the Democrats spent $2 trillion in March, $1 trillion last week, and now they want to come back next week and pass another bill that will spend trillions more. They are spending the hard earned money of Michigan families with no regard for the inflation and higher prices those families are facing for gas, groceries, and everything else," said Congessman John Moolenaar. "Democrats in Congress still have not passed legislation funding the government in 2022, but that hasn't stopped them from spending trillions on top of the regular budget, and that's hurting Michigan families right now with higher prices."

“President Biden’s arbitrary COVID vaccine mandate on businesses with 100 or more employees, burdens businesses with the responsibility to pay for expensive tests or force their employees to be vaccinated. There’s simply nothing in the Constitution that allows the federal government to impose this mandate on private businesses and my bill will cut off funding for the Department of Labor to enforce it,” said Moolenaar.
