“This new trade agreement with Mexico and Canada levels the playing field for Michigan workers and opens new markets for Michigan farmers, including Canada’s dairy market. “The economy could be doing even better though if the House passed the USMCA trade agreement. So it is unfortunate that Speaker Pelosi said today there may not even be a vote until next year. This agreement was reached nearly a year ago and there should be a vote soon, but it’s clear that impeachment is a more important priority for Democrats than passing a new agreement that will benefit Michigan farmers and manufacturers."
