"Michigan families feel the increased costs of food and gas every day. Inflation is at record levels and President Biden's reckless spending has made the problem worse. Sadly, Michigan residents will have to pay nearly 20 percent more than last year to celebrate the Fourth of July with their friends and family. I will continue to fight for American energy independence, and do everything I can to stop Biden’s spending proposals. When Republicans were in charge, Americans had affordable energy, low inflation, and record low unemployment. We can do it again if President Biden reverses his failed policies,” said Congressman John Moolenaar.

"Freedom of speech and freedom of religion are guaranteed to all Americans in the First Amendment, and this ruling is a victory for all who value those rights. No one should have to fear losing their job because of their faith,” said Congressman John Moolenaar.

“Due-process is a right guaranteed to every American, and no citizen should have that right taken away. I voted against this bill because it would take the hard-earned money of Michigan taxpayers and give it to states so they can enforce unconstitutional laws that deny Americans their due process and Second Amendment rights,” said Congressman John Moolenaar.

“This is one of the most wonderful days in the history of our country and today’s ruling will save millions of lives,” said Congressman John Moolenaar. “The Supreme Court’s decision upholds the right to life for the most vulnerable people in our society, and each of their lives is a special gift. I have always believed that future generations will look back on permissive abortion as a moral stain on our country’s history and today’s decision will begin healing the errors of the past. Now, the American people and their elected representatives at all levels of government will have the opportunity to make new laws on this critical issue with the benefit of scientific research that has shown us that precious unborn children have a heartbeat at six weeks and major organs after 15 weeks. I have a 100 percent pro-life voting record and I will continue to fight for the right to life as debates on this issue continue in Congress. There is still important work ahead including increasing support for adoption and pregnancy resource centers that help parents in need. These outstanding organizations across Michigan do important work and I know families are thankful for all they do.”

"Today's ruling is a win for law-abiding citizens who safely exercise their Second Amendment rights. Crime is a serious concern for American families and they have the right to self-defense. New York’s law blatantly infringed upon this right, and the Court was right to strike down this unconstitutional power grab," said Congressman John Moolenaar.

“I voted for today’s common-sense legislation because it will protect taxpayers and make sure their tax dollars are never used to purchase crack pipes,” said Congressman John Moolenaar, who voted for the legislation on Wednesday. “I voted against Biden’s funding for crack pipes last year when I voted against the Democrats’ partisan $2 trillion spending bill. Today’s funding ban is a victory for taxpayers.”

“Our veterans deserve the best care and they should never have to wait a long time to receive it. By publicizing wait times, this legislation will promote accountability and help ensure transparency so our veterans and their families know they are receiving the care they deserve in a timely manner," said Moolenaar.

“Parents will now be further empowered to choose the schools and educational opportunities that are best for their children. This is a victory for parents, students, and educational freedom,” said Congressman John Moolenaar, the chairman of the Congressional School Choice Caucus.

"Churches, crisis pregnancy centers, and even the homes of Supreme Court Justices have been the targets of far-left extremists," said Congressman Moolenaar. "Michigan residents should feel safe, regardless of their political views. They want to know that law enforcement is taking these threats seriously and working to stop the next attack. Attorney General Garland and the Department of Justice need to get to work and stop these far-left attacks."

“I voted for this legislation because it will keep Supreme Court Justices and their families safe while protecting their legal rulings from threats and intimidation. The past month of protests outside justices’ homes by far-left protesters has been nothing more than an intimidation campaign meant to influence the outcome of a Supreme Court case. Then, this past week, a man showed up outside a justice’s home and said he was there to assassinate the justice. Clearly, quick action is needed. President Biden should not wait and he should sign this bill into law immediately,” said Congressman John Moolenaar.
