“American students have fallen behind, with math and reading scores declining to the lowest levels in decades. Parents are frustrated and they deserve to have the best available options for their kids. They are looking for schools with the resources and curriculum that allow their children to reach their fullest potential. As co-chair of the School Choice Caucus, I am proud to stand with them in supporting parents’ rights and school choice for students,” said Congressman Moolenaar.

"The Chinese government is actively working to weaken the United States and the Biden administration needs to do more to stand up to China’s aggression. The Strategic Petroleum Reserve's purpose is to make sure our country has the oil we need in the event of a national emergency, and that is why I voted to make sure none of that oil is sold to China,” said Moolenaar.

"Vice President Kamala Harris is bringing the Biden administration’s record of failure to Michigan, where families have dealt with soaring inflation for the past 18 months,” said Congressman John Moolenaar. “This winter, the higher costs of Biden’s inflation have forced Michigan families and seniors to buy fewer groceries, lower their thermostats, and travel less. It may be a new year, but for Michigan families it is another month of higher prices under Biden and Harris. I will be working to rein in inflation and develop more American energy to get the country back on track."

"The Biden administration wants to increase the size of the IRS and increase audits of low-income and middle-class Michigan families who are already struggling. Every family and small business owner dreads the possibility of an audit. They are costly, and the IRS frequently targets hardworking Americans who cannot afford to hire lawyers to fight back when the IRS is wrong," said Moolenaar. "I voted to end Biden’s extra money for the IRS because Michiganders cannot afford to have the IRS harassing them."

“It is a tremendous honor to represent the people of Michigan’s Second Congressional District. My team and I are opening new offices to serve residents in this large, new district, which has all or part of 20 counties. I hope people will follow my social media accounts and subscribe to my email newsletter for updates on the work I am doing," said Moolenaar.
