“Right now, I am working on the issues that matter most to hardworking Michigan residents, including protecting the Great Lakes, building critical infrastructure at the Soo Locks, making a trade deal with our allies, and continuing the strong economy we have in Michigan with four percent unemployment near record-lows. Unfortunately, House Democrats have been doing everything they can to try and impeach President Trump since he was elected in 2016. The impeachment announcement by Speaker Pelosi shows Democrats are bending to the socialist wing of their party at the expense of getting important work done for the American people.”

With the House and Senate now in agreement, there is clear bipartisan support for getting this done and we have seen historic progress in the last year and a half after President Trump pledged his support. The contest is open to all K-12 students in the Fourth District. Students can compete individually or in teams of up to four people. The winning individual or team from the Fourth District will have their app displayed in the U.S. Capitol. They will also have the option to attend an event in Washington D.C. where they will showcase their app alongside other winning students from across the United States.
