“Diesel is used to deliver so many of the products we buy every day and all of us will face even higher costs because of this diesel shortage. President Biden and the Democrats control Washington and they have failed to ensure Michigan families have the affordable energy they need for their homes, farms, and businesses. The Democrats and their allies have discouraged oil and gas production, while pushing hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars into energy sources that are not ready to meet the needs of our nation,” said Congressman John Moolenaar. “When Republicans were in charge, America had affordable energy and low inflation. The right policies matter, and we can have those things again if we reverse Biden’s disastrous policies.”

“This legislation will help Michigan seniors who need long-term care and provide them with more options, including the potential to receive care at home without having to travel long distances. That option means a lot to our seniors, especially in rural communities, who can save time and money by receiving care in their own home,” said Moolenaar. “This is common sense, bipartisan legislation that reduces red tape and makes the PACE program available to more Michigan seniors. The PACE Association of Michigan does outstanding work for seniors and we are proud to have their support for this legislation.”

“Chemistry benefits every American with new innovations in science, medicine, and the household goods we use every day. Chemistry is a key part of the economy, employing Americans with good-paying jobs and helping ensure our country leads the world for years to come. National Chemistry Week is a celebration of how chemistry makes the world a better place and it encourages talented students to look at careers in science,” said Moolenaar.

"President Biden is using our nation’s emergency supply of oil to bail out his failing policies. He should be supporting policies that make it easier to produce oil and gas here in America,” said Congressman John Moolenaar. "When Republicans led from 2017 through 2021, the national average for gasoline was never more than $3.00 a gallon. Now Michigan families regularly pay $4.00 a gallon or more while Biden drains our nation’s emergency supply of oil.”

"President Biden's inflation crisis has been hurting Michigan families and seniors for more than a year and a half. They have been forced to spend hundreds of dollars more each month to put gas in their car, put food on their table, and cover the cost of living in Biden's economy," said Congressman John Moolenaar. "When Republicans led the House of Representatives, we had a strong economy with low inflation and affordable energy. We can get there again if we reverse the policies of this failed administration.”

"Agriculture is a vital part of Michigan’s economy, and 4-H helps young people in Michigan become the next generation of leaders our state needs. The 4-H organization does incredible work in our communities and I have seen firsthand the positive impact 4-H has made on the lives of young Michiganders," said Moolenaar.

"This legislation does nothing to address the serious concerns of Michigan families and seniors who are dealing with higher prices for home heating, gas, and food. Inflation is at the highest levels in four decades, supply chain problems continue, and Biden’s spending has made all of these problems worse,” said Congressman Moolenaar. "We must stop Biden’s spending, unleash American energy production and get the country back on track. When Republicans led the House of Representatives, we had a strong economy, low inflation, and affordable energy. We can do this again with a budget that works for American families.”

"This legislation protects Michigan farmers from having their farmland controlled by the Chinese Communist Party. We cannot allow China to buy U.S. farms and jeopardize the food supply Michigan families rely on,” said Moolenaar. "I will continue to stand up for Michigan agriculture and oppose China’s attempts to buy more American farms.”

“This new classification of gun purchases is a dangerous breach of the privacy Americans expect when they buy something from a business. Liberal activists are already planning to use this new information to report their fellow citizens to law enforcement for the very act of exercising their Second Amendment right to own firearms. What other purchases will these credit card companies report to liberal activists next? This is unacceptable and these companies must be held accountable for their decisions,” said Congressman Moolenaar.
