"The American people deserve to know where their representatives stand on President Biden’s transportation mask mandate. My colleagues should sign the discharge petition to bring this bill up for debate and stop letting Speaker Pelosi block a vote that would overturn the mask mandate,” said Moolenaar. “I have been consistent in my opposition to Biden's mandates and restrictions. They should have been ended long ago, but Biden and his Justice Department are trying to reimpose the mask mandate and take away the joy of Americans who celebrated its end. The Senate has already voted to end the mandate and we should do the same in the House as soon as possible."

"The Great Lakes are the foundation of Michigan’s outdoor heritage, and they support fishing, boating, and tourism, enriching the lives of Michigan residents,” said Congressman Moolenaar. "I will continue to work with my colleagues to protect the Great Lakes, so Michigan residents and future generations will enjoy them for years to come."

"This week, Americans have celebrated the end of the federal transit mask mandate, and now the Biden Administration is considering legal appeals that would take that joy away. President Biden should join passengers, flight attendants, pilots, and other transportation workers in celebrating the end of this pandemic restriction and end the legal appeals process. Then, he should also immediately end his vaccine requirement for truck drivers who cross the border, and his mask mandate on toddlers,” said Congressman John Moolenaar. "I trust Michigan families to make the decisions that are best for them and believe Biden’s mandates and restrictions should have been done away with long ago."

"Being sanctioned by Vladimir Putin’s corrupt government is a badge of honor. I refuse to stand idly by while his government commits genocide, and I have voted to help Ukraine defend itself against the Russian invasion. These new sanctions will not deter me from continuing to support the courageous people of Ukraine as they fight for their lives and the country they love,” said Moolenaar.

Rep. Moolenaar in the Rio Grande Valley seeing the border crisis

Congressman Moolenaar in the Rio Grande Valley seeing the border crisis firsthand.

As your member of Congress, I have been fighting to secure the southern border. I have traveled to the border and seen firsthand how President Biden's failed border policies have created a dangerous crisis. What is happening at the southern border affects all of us. Drug cartels are trafficking people across the border, padding their own pockets and using them to smuggle deadly drugs into our country.

"President Biden just extended the public health emergency because it allows him to put more rules on the American people. He refuses to trust Americans to decide what is best for them and their families. It is long past time to end the restrictions and mandates, including the vaccine requirement for truck drivers crossing the border, the mask mandates on public transit, and the outrageous mandate that forces toddlers in Head Start to wear masks at pre-school,” said Congressman John Moolenaar. "The Biden Administration needs to focus on the inflation and energy crises that are hurting so many families and stop imposing pandemic policies on hardworking Michigan residents.”
