“Extending a COVID-era subsidy for those making more than 400 percent of the poverty level is wrong and will only increase health care costs. Families deserve a lower cost of care, but this failed policy is not the answer,” said Moolenaar. “I am focusing on real reforms that increase competition, improve transparency, and protect taxpayers.” 

“These bills fund important programs that are crucial to Michigan families. They increase funding to fight the fentanyl crisis, protect the Great Lakes, combat online scams, and invest in STEM education,” said Moolenaar. “They also fund the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to continue construction of the Soo Locks, and maintain our harbors.”

“Today may be a new day in Venezuela. Nicolás Maduro was a dictator who contributed to narco-terrorism targeting Americans and subjected his people to unspeakable horrors. He must be held accountable for these atrocities. I am thankful to the men and women in the military for their bravery last night and pray for their continued safety.”

Michigan is one of the most agriculturally diverse states in the country and this specialty crop aid will help our growers," said Moolenaar.
