"The Postal Service is essential for seniors, veterans, and so many residents in Michigan,” said Congressman Moolenaar. “That’s why I took action in March and voted for the CARES Act which provided USPS with access to $10 billion in funding to address challenges caused by the pandemic. This funding already provides USPS with the resources it needs to deliver the packages Americans depend on including medications, checks, ballots, and more. Today’s vote by the Democrats was nothing more than political grandstanding that fails to address the problems at USPS.
