Today, Congressman John Moolenaar, along with Congressmen Darin LaHood (R-IL) and Jared Golden (D-ME), reintroduced the bipartisan No Official Giveaways Of Taxpayers’ Income to Oppressive Nations (NO GOTION) Act in the House of Representatives. The bill will also be introduced in the U.S.
Today, Congressman John Moolenaar questioned Muriel Bowser, the mayor of Washington, D.C., about the District’s troubling sister city relationship with Beijing. The questioning came as Bowser appeared before a hearing of the House Appropriations Committee’s Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee, which provides funding to the federal district. In response to Moolenaar’s questioning, the mayor promised to review the district’s sister-city relationship with Beijing.
