“Voting is a fundamental right for American citizens to determine who will lead their communities and represent them in government. It is disgraceful that our nation’s capital city would allow illegal immigrants and foreign diplomats from any country to vote in local elections. The legislation I voted for today will repeal this out-of-touch decision by the far-left leaders of the capital city and help secure election integrity. The Democrats leading the Senate should pass this bill immediately, and President Biden should sign it into law,” said Moolenaar.

“It is common sense that we should count and know how many citizens there are in Michigan and across the country. Michigan has lost representation in Congress because of failed Democratic policies in Lansing that have driven people out of the state, and because other states are allowed to count large populations of people who are living illegally in their states. I am proud to support this legislation to ensure the citizens of Michigan are fairly represented,” said Moolenaar. 

“President Biden and Vice President Harris claim to be looking out for American workers, but just three days ago they signed off on new rules that will let Chinese automakers qualify for tax incentives paid for by the very same American workers. It is hypocritical and the Biden administration should ban Chinese companies from qualifying for tax credits,” said Congressman John Moolenaar, the Chairman of the House Select Committee on the CCP.

“Acting Secretary Su’s indifference to rural America has harmed Michigan farmers and their hope for a prosperous future. I have heard fifth and sixth-generation farmers in my district say they will be the last in their family to farm unless something changes. Unfortunately, the Biden administration and Acting Secretary Su are not addressing this issue with the urgency that is needed. The House should pass my Supporting Farm Operations Act to stop Biden’s increases and provide relief for farmers,” said Moolenaar after the hearing.

“The requirement for a warrant makes our country stronger by protecting the civil liberties all Americans cherish. I will always stand for the Constitutional rights of Americans so all citizens can live freely in a safe and secure America,” said Moolenaar.

He has been an incredible leader for our country as a member of the military, and as a member of Congress, where he was instrumental in creating the Select Committee. His selfless and faithful stewardship of the Select Committee has been a tremendous success and benefited the American people.”

“Secretary Mayorkas has willfully refused to comply with the law, repeatedly lied to Congress by claiming the border is secure, and made it harder for Border Patrol agents to enforce the law. The policies he has implemented through executive action have helped drug cartels pour fentanyl into our communities and kill our loved ones, while also making it easier for the cartels to get away with human trafficking and the sexual assault of women and girls,” said Moolenaar. “On his first day in office, President Biden reversed border policies that were working and now he is leaving Secretary Mayorkas holding the bag when he knows he is truly the one who has made our country a more dangerous place for all Americans.”

“The passing of Shandra Eisenga was a preventable tragedy caused by a lack of oversight and accountability for tissue donation services. Nobody should have to go through what Shandra and her family experienced. The Shandra Eisenga Human Cell and Tissue Product Safety Act will stop future TB outbreaks and honor Shandra’s legacy.
