Congressman John Moolenaar is a cosponsor of House Resolution 153, which recognizes and condemns the increase in hate crimes and violence against Asian-American and Pacific Islanders in the United States throughout the last year. The resolution was introduced last month by Congresswoman Michelle Steel (R-CA), the first Korean-American woman elected to Congress. Congressman Moolenaar cosponsored the resolution on March 3.
Congressman John Moolenaar has signed on as a co-sponsor of the bipartisan GRUB Act, which would reimburse National Guard members deployed to Washington D.C. who had to pay for their own meals because of food quality concerns. This legislation was introduced yesterday in response to reports from Michigan National Guard members who documented undercooked and unsafe food served to them during their time serving at the U.S. Capitol.
