"This week, Americans have celebrated the end of the federal transit mask mandate, and now the Biden Administration is considering legal appeals that would take that joy away. President Biden should join passengers, flight attendants, pilots, and other transportation workers in celebrating the end of this pandemic restriction and end the legal appeals process. Then, he should also immediately end his vaccine requirement for truck drivers who cross the border, and his mask mandate on toddlers,” said Congressman John Moolenaar. "I trust Michigan families to make the decisions that are best for them and believe Biden’s mandates and restrictions should have been done away with long ago."

"Being sanctioned by Vladimir Putin’s corrupt government is a badge of honor. I refuse to stand idly by while his government commits genocide, and I have voted to help Ukraine defend itself against the Russian invasion. These new sanctions will not deter me from continuing to support the courageous people of Ukraine as they fight for their lives and the country they love,” said Moolenaar. 

"President Biden just extended the public health emergency because it allows him to put more rules on the American people. He refuses to trust Americans to decide what is best for them and their families. It is long past time to end the restrictions and mandates, including the vaccine requirement for truck drivers crossing the border, the mask mandates on public transit, and the outrageous mandate that forces toddlers in Head Start to wear masks at pre-school,” said Congressman John Moolenaar. "The Biden Administration needs to focus on the inflation and energy crises that are hurting so many families and stop imposing pandemic policies on hardworking Michigan residents.”

"Before the pandemic, our country had low unemployment and low inflation. Now, because of President Biden’s failed ideas and reckless spending spree, Michigan residents are paying more for everything. Biden and his team used to say inflation would just go away. They were wrong and now they want to blame anything other than their failed policies for the year-long rise in prices hurting Michigan families,” said Congressman John Moolenaar.

“I have fought for our region to receive additional cost-sharing support from the federal government and this announcement is the culmination of that work. This additional cost-sharing will save local governments and area residents millions of dollars,” said Congressman John Moolenaar.

"As the parent of servicemembers, I have seen how the academies can transform young men and women into incredible leaders. This fair will be an outstanding opportunity to learn more about these vital institutions and how they prepare students for leadership and service,” said Moolenaar.

“President Biden is ending COVID rules for people who break the law and illegally cross the border, while at the same time forcing hardworking Americans and their children to follow COVID restrictions and mandates,” said Congressman John Moolenaar. “Biden’s decision today will lead to further chaos and directly benefit the drug cartels who smuggle people and fentanyl across the border. It will put our law enforcement at risk and increase the potential for American families to lose a loved one to a drug overdose. Finally, we know that people from around the world go to the southern border to enter the United States. After today’s announcement, many groups who wish to harm our country are likely looking to travel to Mexico so they can illegally enter the United States next month.”
