Unnecessary and burdensome regulations have hindered economic growth and job creation in America. That is why I am fighting for smarter, pro-growth policies that get government out of the way and help small businesses expand and hire new workers. In fact, I have supported overturning numerous regulations written by unelected bureaucrats who do not understand the negative consequences of the rules they wrote.
Michigan has a talented workforce and world-leading manufacturing base, and we can keep it that way by promoting opportunities in the skilled trades. I am committed to ensuring residents have the opportunity to learn career and technical skills that are vital to applying for good-paying jobs.

“MBS helps connect Michigan residents with destinations across the country,” Congressman John Moolenaar, a member of the House Appropriations Committee which funds federal grant programs, said in a statement. “This new funding will help the airport continue its outstanding service for the residents of mid and northern Michigan who enjoy flying out of an airport that serves our region.”

The contest is open to all K-12 students in the Fourth District. Students can compete individually or in teams of up to four people. The winning individual or team from the Fourth District will have their app displayed in the U.S. Capitol. They will also have the option to attend an event in Washington D.C. where they will showcase their app alongside other winning students from across the United States.
