St. Louis Superfund Site Receives EPA Funding
June 23, 2017
This week, the Environmental Protection Agency announced $9.7 million in funding will be used to begin the next phase in the clean-up of the Velsicol Superfund site in St. Louis.
Congressman John Moolenaar previously led a bipartisan letter to the EPA about this issue and released the following statement:
"This funding is a positive step in the long overdue clean-up process. I will keep the pressure on the EPA to see this clean-up through to the end and restore the Pine River for future generations."
