Senate Confirms Agriculture Secretary

Today, the United States Senate confirmed Sonny Perdue to be the next Secretary of Agriculture.

Congressman John Moolenaar released the following statement:

"It is good to see the Senate confirm Sonny Perdue to lead the Department of Agriculture. Agriculture is vital to Michigan and I look forward to working with the new secretary on the issues facing farmers and rural communities throughout our state."
