Moolenaar Votes to Reaffirm U.S. Support for Israel
Today, Congressman John Moolenaar voted for legislation reaffirming the United States’ support for Israel. The resolution states unequivocally that Israel is not a racist or apartheid state, and that Congress rejects all forms of antisemitism.
“For decades, Israel has been one of America’s closest allies in the world. Today’s legislation reaffirms the strong alliance between our two nations and that America will always support Israel and its right to exist,” said Moolenaar.
The legislation passed with an overwhelmingly bipartisan vote of 412 to 9, with one voting present. The vote comes a day ahead of Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s address to Congress.
