Moolenaar Votes For Legislation Supporting Education About the Holocaust
Today, the House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed the Never Again Education Act, legislation which supports grants for education about the Holocaust.
The House passed the bill today as the world marked Holocaust Remembrance Day and the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp.
“I supported this legislation because many people have forgotten this tragic history, and we must do better so future generations never forget,” said Congressman John Moolenaar, who co-sponsored the legislation and voted for it today.
In 2018, a survey found that 41 percent of respondents, and 66 percent of millennials were unable to identify the significance of Auschwitz.
