Moolenaar Supports End to Government Shutdown

Today, President Trump and bipartisan leaders from the Senate reached an agreement that will end the government shutdown.

As part of the agreement, Democrats say they will negotiate solutions on border security over the next three weeks.

Congressman Moolenaar made the following statement:

"Thank you to the federal employees who worked hard to keep our country safe during this difficult time. As Americans, we all know with one party in the White House and one party controlling the House, leaders must work together to solve our nation's most important issues. Democrats need to come to the table and negotiate serious solutions for border security to protect the American people and fix a broken system."
