Moolenaar Statement on the Passing of Senator McCain

Congressman John Moolenaar released the following statement on the passing of Senator John McCain:

"John McCain was an American hero. As a nation, we can never repay him for the sacrifices he made as a prisoner of war. He was a dedicated public servant and in the Senate he was a champion for the brave men and women of our military. He was also a fierce defender of our country's indispensable role in the world and he worked tirelessly to advance human rights and liberty for all people. He served our country with honor and distinction. My prayers are with his friends and family as the nation joins them in mourning the loss of a patriot."
