Moolenaar Statement on the Fatal Shooting at Central Michigan University

Today, there was a fatal shooting on the campus of Central Michigan University. Two people were killed and the alleged suspect remains at large.

Congressman John Moolenaar's district includes Central Michigan University. He made the following statement on the incident:

"Today's tragedy breaks the hearts of everyone who is a part of the CMU community. I know the university works hard to ensure a safe learning environment for all of its students, faculty and staff. State, local and tribal law enforcement is doing everything it can to apprehend the suspect and protect the community."
