Moolenaar Recognizes Korsons' Tree Farms' Official White House Christmas Tree

December 1, 2025

Today, Congressman John Moolenaar and Congressman John James, joined by the rest of their colleagues in the Michigan congressional delegation, introduced a resolution congratulating Korson’s Tree Farms in Montcalm County for being selected to provide the official 2025 White House Christmas Tree.

“Korson’s Tree Farms is the first Michigan grower in 41 years to be selected as the official White House Christmas Tree, and their family-run operation represents the excellence and tradition that define Michigan’s growers. I am grateful to honor this achievement and celebrate the role Michigan will play in bringing Christmas spirit to our nation’s capital,” said Moolenaar.

“Korson’s Tree Farms embodies the strength, faith, and craftsmanship that make Michigan the proud heart of American agriculture,” said James. "This honor is a testament to the spirit of our entire state, a place where families strive for excellence and carry on traditions that stand the test of time. Michigan produces world-class timber and powers the industries that keep America moving, all while building communities defined by service and grit. I’m proud to join my colleagues in celebrating this family-run business. A Michigan Christmas tree in the White House brings our state’s Christmas spirit straight to Washington.”
