Moolenaar Questions Budget Director on Funding Cut for Protecting the Great Lakes

February 4, 2015

Representative John Moolenaar (R-Midland), a member of the House Budget Committee, questioned Office of Management and Budget Director Shaun Donovan at today's committee hearing regarding funding to protect the Great Lakes from the threat of Asian Carp.

"The president's budget spends too much money on new, untested programs, while cutting funding that protects the Great Lakes from the threat of Asian Carp. The entire country benefits from the Great Lakes, and protecting them from invasive species must be a top priority."
