Moolenaar: “Michiganders Are Worse Off Today Than When President Biden Took Office”

Congressman John Moolenaar made the following statement on President Joe Biden’s State of the Union speech tonight:

“Michiganders are worse off today than when President Biden took office and tonight’s speech showed he is doubling down on the same failed policies that have raised the cost of living on Michigan families these past three years,” said Moolenaar. “President Biden’s massive spending and money printing caused record inflation and Michigan residents are paying higher prices for his failed agenda every day.”

Prices have risen an average of 17.9% since Joe Biden became president. A recent report showed the average Michigan family needs to make an additional $10,435 every year to afford the same standard of living they had before President Biden took office.
