Moolenaar Meets With Community Organizations That Support Families

January 29, 2021

He Also Opposes Biden's Executive Order Funding Abortions in Foreign Countries With Taxpayer Money

Yesterday, Congressman John Moolenaar visited Life Choices of Central Michigan in Mount Pleasant and Life Resources of Northern Michigan in Big Rapids. He met with the leaders of both organizations and talked with them about how they support parents and children, during and after a pregnancy.

Also, yesterday, at the White House, President Joe Biden signed an executive order allowing foreign organizations that receive U.S. taxpayer funding to provide referrals for abortions.

"President Biden's executive order takes money from hardworking Michigan families and sends it to foreign countries where it will be used to support the abortion of innocent, unborn children," said Moolenaar. "Taxpayer money should never be used to support abortion and today I was proud to visit with two local organizations here in Michigan who are supporting parents and children during and after pregnancy. These organizations do outstanding work to help young families and I know people across mid and northern Michigan are thankful for all they do to protect the vulnerable in our region."
