Moolenaar To Attend Gas-Discount Event in Alma

On Monday, September 12, Congressman John Moolenaar will attend a gas-discount event at Sky's Citgo gas station in Alma. The event will discount the price of gas to $2.38 per gallon, the national average when President Biden took office, to highlight the costs felt by Michiganders because of his policies. Americans For Prosperity is hosting the event.

"Michigan families and seniors continue to face unaffordable energy prices caused by President Biden. Before the pandemic, we had a strong economy with low inflation and affordable gas, but Biden's policies have discouraged American energy independence," said Moolenaar. "This event reminds us how the right policies can benefit Michigan residents with affordable energy and low inflation."
