Moolenaar Announces Guest to Presidential Joint Address
Tonight, Congressman John Moolenaar will be joined by his guest for President Trump's Joint Address to Congress: Adam Dontz, of Manistee. In 2014, Adam acquired the historic Dontz Family Homestead in Manistee, land that has been in his family since 1911. Adam developed the property to be operated as LakeStar Farms, the largest barn venue in Michigan which possess a Centennial Farm designation by the Michigan Historical Society. Dontz also serves as the Chairman of the Manistee County Airport Authority Board, where he works to grow the airport's capabilities to benefit his community.
"Adam is a champion for Manistee County, and a passionate advocate for small businesses in his community. As a small business owner himself, Adam hosts guests from all over the country to see the beauty of West Michigan firsthand, while honoring his family's storied agricultural heritage," Moolenaar said. "As the Chairman of the Manistee County Airport Authority Board, his leadership is instrumental in improving access to benefit the local economy. I am grateful Adam has accepted my invitation to join me for President Trump's first address to Congress in his second administration."
“We are fortunate to have Congressman Moolenaar representing Michigan’s Second District, especially for his leadership as Chairman of the House Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party," said Adam Dontz. "It is a true honor to join Congressman Moolenaar in the House Chamber for President Trump’s upcoming Address to Congress. I am confident that the President’s address will be filled with bold America First ideas that will propel our nation forward. I am deeply grateful to be part of this historic evening in our nation’s capital.”
President Trump will address Congress tonight, March 4 in the House of Representatives beginning at 9:00 PM.
