Michiganders Continue to Pay For Biden's Crippling Inflation
This morning, the U.S. Department of Labor announced that inflation is at 7.7 percent. This is the tenth consecutive month that Michiganders are facing over 7.0 percent inflation rates and the 17th consecutive month over 5.0 percent. Michigan families and seniors continue to face some of the highest inflation rates since the 1980s.
"President Biden's inflation crisis is forcing Michigan families and seniors to spend hundreds of dollars extra each month to fill up their gas tank, keep their fridge full of food, and to heat their home. The trillions in wasteful spending from this administration has sent the cost of living soaring and put the economy on the path to another recession," said Congressman John Moolenaar. "I am working to reverse the policies of this failed administration so the economy will work for Michiganders again."
New analysis shows that inflation is costing Michiganders an additional $700 each month.
