March 31, 2015

In a 392-37 bipartisan vote today, the House of Representatives approved a permanent fix to the Sustainable Growth Rate in Medicare. Representative John Moolenaar (R-Midland) voted in favor of the legislation and released the following statement:

"Permanently fixing Medicare's Sustainable Growth Rate provides rural health care access for our district's over 130,000 Medicare-eligible individuals and gives doctors certainty over the costs of treating patients.
